Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tacheddirt
Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas. Meet your local mountain guide and mule team. Begin trekking through terraced fields and Berber villages, crossing mountain paths to reach Tacheddirt, one of the highest villages in the Atlas. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 2: Tacheddirt – Tizi n’Tamatert – Ikkiss Valley
Cross the Tizi n’Tamatert Pass, enjoying spectacular panoramic views of surrounding peaks. Descend into the peaceful Ikkiss Valley, known for its traditional stone villages. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Ikkiss Valley – Azzaden Valley
Continue trekking through scenic trails, walnut groves, and mountain streams. Reach the beautiful Azzaden Valley, surrounded by dramatic Atlas landscapes. Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse.
Day 4: Azzaden Valley – Toubkal Refuge
Ascend through juniper forests and alpine scenery, passing Sidi Chamharouch, a sacred pilgrimage site. Continue to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m). Dinner and overnight at the refuge.
Day 5: Optional Mount Toubkal Summit – Imlil
Early morning optional ascent of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) for those wishing to summit. Enjoy panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains. Descend to Imlil for dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Imlil – Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer back to Marrakech, arriving around midday or early afternoon.
