Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Djebel Saghro
Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Continue to Ouarzazate and onward to the Djebel Saghro region. Meet your trekking team. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse or bivouac.
Day 2: Saghro Trek – Tassegdilt Plateau
Begin trekking through volcanic landscapes, black rock formations, and wide desert plateaus. Walk among acacia trees and nomadic camps. Reach the Tassegdilt Plateau. Dinner and overnight in bivouac.
Day 3: Tassegdilt – Bab n’Ali Peaks
Trek toward the dramatic rock towers of Bab n’Ali, one of the most iconic sites in Djebel Saghro. Enjoy panoramic views and explore the surrounding canyons. Dinner and overnight near Bab n’Ali.
Day 4: Bab n’Ali – Handour Valley
Continue trekking through deep gorges and wide valleys shaped by erosion. Discover ancient rock formations and remote Berber villages in the Handour Valley. Dinner and overnight in bivouac.
Day 5: Handour Valley – Assaka Valley
Walk along the Assaka Valley, following riverbeds and palm-lined oases. Experience the contrast between desert and mountain scenery. Dinner and overnight in bivouac or local guesthouse.
Day 6: Assaka Valley – Return to Marrakech
End the trek and transfer back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. Arrival in the evening.
