Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Bouguemez Valley
Early departure from Marrakech toward the Ait Bouguemez Valley, known as the “Happy Valley.” Enjoy scenic drives through the High Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages. Meet your trekking team (guide and muleteers). Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse.
Day 2: Ait Bouguemez – Azib n’Ikkis
Start trekking through lush valleys, terraced fields, and mountain landscapes. Walk along riverbeds and remote trails surrounded by dramatic peaks. Arrive at Azib n’Ikkis, where you camp or stay in a basic mountain shelter. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Azib n’Ikkis – Mount Mgoun Summit Area (4,071 m)
Early start for the ascent toward Mount Mgoun, one of Morocco’s highest peaks. Enjoy spectacular views over the High Atlas ranges and deep valleys. Reach the summit area (weather permitting) before descending to the campsite. Dinner and overnight under the stars.
Day 4: Descent – Return to Marrakech
Descend through scenic trails and Berber villages. After lunch, transfer back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.
